This documentation covers the customer online banking portal features available on the UBU Finance Customer Platform (https://extend.ubu-economy.com). The platform provides customers with self-service capabilities for managing their accounts, viewing transactions, and accessing banking services online.

The customer portal implements a secure authentication system where:

  • Internet Banking Activation: Must be activated by bank staff before customer access
  • Secure Login: Uses access code and password sent via email
  • Self-Service Features: Customers can only view their accounts status
  • Joint Account Access: Joint owners can access shared accounts with their assigned permissions

This customer-centric approach ensures secure and convenient banking while maintaining regulatory compliance and security standards.

Process Flow:

  1. Bank staff accesses customer profile on system platform
  2. Clicks "More Actions" menu
  3. Selects "Activate Internet Banking"
  4. System generates access credentials
  5. Credentials are sent to customer's registered email

Access Code 5-character uppercase code for login
Password Secure password for account access
Delivery Method Sent via email to customer's registered address

Initial Login

Step Description
1. Access Portal Navigate to https://extend.ubu-economy.com
2. Enter Credentials Input access code and password received via email
3. OTP Verification Enter one-time password sent to registered email
4. First Login Setup Change password on first login for security
5. Access Dashboard Gain access to customer portal features
